We have a modern, well maintained fleet of mobile cranes with capacities from 7 to 300 tonnes, which are available for hire either under CPA Crane Hire terms and conditions or as a fully managed CPA Contract Lift.

We also offer HGV transport with vehicles including Lorry loaders, Rigid and Articulated Lorries up to STGO CAT3, including semi-low, flat, extendable and euroliner trailers.

We can provide on-site Machinery Moving, as well as our own dedicated covered and external Storage areas to meet all of your lifting, moving and storage requirements.

Technical Specifications

CPA Crane Hire or Contract Lift

At Steve Foster Cranes Ltd we offer two options for hiring mobile cranes.

You can hire a crane under CPA Hire terms and conditions if you have the personnel, experience and ability to adequately plan and supervise the lifting operation in accordance with LOLER98. Under these conditions of hire the client must prove they are able to provide adequate ‘Hired-in Plant Insurance’ to cover the value of the crane which you are hiring. (We can provide this for an additional charge)

If you feel that you do not have the necessary experience, skills or personnel to hire under CPA Hire terms and conditions, we can offer a fully managed CPA Contract Lift. This will ensure your compliance with LOLER98, and is carried out in accordance with BS7121, the approved code of practice for compliance with current legislation.

This service comes includes all necessary personnel, lifting equipment and Insurance, along with a job-specific Risk Assessment and Method Statement.
